Final Fantasy VII Advent Children is set 2 years after the events of Final Fantasy VII. People live in the new city called Edge City. This is a city which is located near the remains of Midgar.
Our story begins with the return of our hero Cloud Strife. Cloud lives a solitude life and has lost contact with his loved ones. He has a new outfit in Advent Children which differs from his old purple outfit in Final Fantasy VII. Cloud belivs that he is still responsible for the death of Aerith. He is always looking to be forgiven in the movie.
As well as Cloud the whole Finla Fantasy VII Crew return in the movie. Tifa, Red XIII, Cid , Barret, Cait Sith, Vincent. Yuffie. One noticable person missing is Aerith. She is seen in a few scene’s where Cloud has enterd a field of Flowers and he is speaking to her.
Cloud has 3 new enemies in Advent Children. Kadaj the leader of the silver haired men, and his brothers Loz, and Yazoo. Many people belive these are in-fact clones of sephiroth. They are all searching for one thing… Jenova’s head. If the silver haired men ( Kadaj, Loz, Yazoo ) can find the head of Jenova then they can re-create the Sephiroth by having a reunion.
The turks have returned as well in Advent Children. They have been seen guarding an injured man in a wheel chair. This man has the Shinra logo on his chair and also has Shinra pictures in his house. Many people belive that it is in fact Rufus Shinra.
At one stage Kadaj goes to visit the Wheel Chair Man and drops two Blooded ID Cards, With the pictures of Tseng and Elena on them. Is this a hint that in fact the Wheel Chair man is Rufus Shinra?
